If the OP indeed wants a single point sling, then I agree, QD mounts FTW. If he doesnt want or need the single point option, then basic install like mine is fine. I personally liked my VTAC sling setup better for 2 point, but the Magpul is ok. I like being able to muzzle down front carry, then with a tug, tighten it up for muzzle up back carry.
